Rosemary Ann (Yaple) Bush, age 82, passed away quietly on February 27th, 2024 with her husband and niece with her at her home in Grayson, GA. She was born in Sayre, PA and raised in Auburn, NY. She moved with her husband to Georgia in 1979. She lived in Gwinnett County until her passing.She was preceded in death by her parents, Iva and Frank Yaple, Sr., and her brothers and sisters. Rosemary was the youngest of 14 children. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, David Bush of Grayson, GA and several nieces and nephews, including Kathy Yaple of Snellville, GA Iva Raycroft (Alan) of Hornell, NY, Paul Yaple, Jr of Snellville, GA, Rosemary Gendreau and her sons (Robert, Mark, Jr.) of Knoxville TN, Carl Cory (Lisa) of Auburn, NY and Sherry Barker and family of Auburn, NY.Rosemary was a woman of strong faith. The Lord was always her guiding force. She was raised in the Salvation Army and attended the Lawrenceville Corp until COVID and health changes. At the Corp she served as a greeter and always had a welcoming smile for all those entering the house of the Lord. Rosemary worked in business her entire life starting with human resources and eventually retired as an executive assistant. Rosemary enjoyed life, gardening, going to Cherokee to play the penny machines, and going to the beach. She was the life of any party. No one was a stranger when you were in the room with Rosemary. Rosemary had the gift of generosity. She always thought of everyone before herself. In recent years, their house in Grayson has become a magnet for feral cats, who she loved caring for and watching them play. Her husband and niece will continue to care for the cats she loved.The service to celebrate the life of Rosemary Bush will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 7:00 PM at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel, Snellville, GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel from 6:00 PM until the hour of service.
