With profound sadness we announce the passing of Jonathan Thomas Nolan, a beloved son, brother, and uncle who joined our eternal Father in Heaven on March 12th, 2024. As the second child of Aloysius Thomas (Tom) Nolan and Deborah (Debbie) Walker Nolan, Jonathan excelled at sports and had a life-long love of soccer, football, and water sports. Some of his most cherished memories and closest friendships were formed while on the football field at Brookwood High School and on the lake water skiing with friends and family. He graduated from Georgia Southern in Construction Management and worked for Batten and Shaw as a project manager for several hospital developments. He later joined Trax Trucks in Atlanta in vehicle sales. He loved classic cars and could often be found tinkering on his vehicles or creating one of a kind furniture. He was a devoted uncle and cherished his nephews with all of his heart spending countless hours with them playing games, building sand castles, running through sprinklers, and creating everlasting memories. We will forever cherish the memories of his humor and warmth. Jonathan was known for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and ability to bring joy to those around him. His personality was a magnet for everyone whom he met and he could make people laugh even in the toughest of times. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents James and Marjorie Walker and paternal grandparents Thomas and Dorothy Nolan. His memory will be forever treasured by his parents Tom and Debbie Nolan; sister Shannon Nolan and family Andrew Meredith and their son Colton Meredith; sister Stephanie Green and family Jeremy Green and son’s Nolan and Alexander Green; as well a long list of loving Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Tom M.
